Following Colombia’s presidential election runoff held on 21 June 2026, Justice for Colombia held an online meeting to discuss its implications.
The speakers were Colombian human rights lawyer Diego Martínez; JFC chair, TUC president and election observer Steve Gillan; and JFC director Victor Figueroa.
In the second round, far-right Abelardo de la Espriella was the provisonal winner by one percentage point over progressive candidate Iván Cepeda. De la Espriella’s victory was confirmed the day after this event.
