The body of social leader and rural activist Sandra Yaneth Luna was found this week, five months after masked men abducted her from her home in Tibú, department of Norte de Santander. She had been shot three times.
Sandra was a members of the Communal Action Board in the village of Tutumito Carbonera.
Over 170 social leaders were murdered in 2017. At least 24 have so far been killed in 2018.
