In our ongoing series of video interviews, we speak to people involved in areas of peace, human rights and trade unionism in Colombia.
For the third in our JFC Interview series, we spoke to Cristian Delgado.
Cristian is a human rights defender based in Cauca, one of the most violent regions of Colombia, and is a member of the Patriotic March social organisation.
According to national human rights organisations, more than 1,000 social activists have been murdered since Colombia’s historic peace agreement was signed in November 2016. In addition, 234 former guerrillas in the FARC have been killed (up to 18 October 2020).
