Colombia Meeting in Parliament

Justice for Colombia and Progress are jointly hosting a public meeting in Parliament to discuss how Colombia can achieve peace and human rights. We urge all supporters to attend what will be an interesting and informative discussion on the situation with speakers including Foreign Office Minister Gillian Merron MP, former Foreign Office Minister Tony Lloyd MP, the London director of Human Rights Watch, Tom Porteus, trade union leader Sally Hunt, who recently visited Colombia, and the Colombian Ambassador to London H.E. Noemi Sanin. We will also be joined be Dan Kovalik, Senior Associate General Counsel of the United Steelworkers from the US who was instrumental in changing Democrat Party policy towards Colombia.

The meeting is on Wednesday 17th June at 6pm in Committee Room 10 of the House of Commons.
