Trade unionists, students, Welsh Assembly members, employment lawyers and other Justice for Colombia supporters in Wales have come together to launch a JFC branch in Wales and we urge all those with an interest to get involved. The launch meeting will take place on Tuesday 10th March in Cardiff where ways in which supporters in Wales can get involved in activities in solidarity with Colombia will be discussed.
Speakers at the launch will include the leaders of the two largest trade unions in Wales – Andy Richards of Unite and Paul O'Shea of UNISON – as well as Ann Jones, a Labour Member of the Welsh Assembly. The event will be chair by Vaughan Gething a lawyer with Thompsons Solicitors who is currently the President of the Wales TUC.
The meeting is at 6pm at the UNISON Wales head office on Custom House Street, Cardiff, CF10 1AP and UNISON has kindly agreed to provide refreshments for participants. The meeting is free of charge and open to all. Click here to download a flyer with more information.
