A petition on the 10 Downing Street website asking for the Prime Minister to suspend UK military assistance to Colombia until the Colombian Army stops abusing human rights has been signed by over 2,000 people. The petition also raises concerns over collusion between the Colombian government and illegal paramilitary groups and calls on the Colombian regime to fully implement the human rights recommendations made to them by the UN.
