Over the past two weeks FARC troops have been arriving to the 26 zones across the Colombian countryside where they will be living during their demobilisation process. There have been severe delays however due to the lack of installment of infrastructure and paramiltray presence in certain zones.
The JFC Director Mariela Kohon recently led an international verification mission to one of the zones in the North of Cauca.
Her picture showed the complete lack of preparations for the arrival of the troops. FARC troops will themselves now take part in building the infrastructure in the transitory zones.
